World Problems

World Problems

We are facing so many problems today. Terrorism, unemployment, poverty and above all, the problems related to environment, the burden of gasoline. Our resources are getting exhausted and a time will come when we will have no fuels for our cars. People are coming up with ideas of fuel free vehicle and this guy, Kevin Kohler has one of the best ideas for fuel free cars. Let's see what it is.

Kevin Kohler aka The Backyard Scientist

Kevin Kohler is one of the famous YouTube users by the name "The Backyard Scientist" and has been attracting the audience by his amazing ideas. He has a huge fan base on YouTube. His recent backyard idea was a car which runs on a giant mousetrap. Yes! You heard it right. No fuel, no engine, but a simple giant mousetrap which runs a car.

The Giant Mousetrap Car

The Giant Mousetrap Car

The roadster is made on a simple principle using a giant mousetrap. The best thing about it is it will save you so much on fuels. It runs on the power of the mousetrap. All you got to do is attach a string to string to the mouse trap and axle or the string pull. In this method one end of a string is attached or tied to the arm on the mousetrap and the other end of the string is wound around an axle. By winding the string around the axle the mouse trap's spring is stretched and now you have your stored energy. As the mousetrap car is released the mouse trap pulls the string off of the axle causing the wheels to turn and off the vehicle goes.

Have A Look

Why don't you yourself have a look at this simple yet an amazing initiative. I think Telsa should consider this idea in making their automobiles by bumping its batteries and fuel ideas. We can save on fuel, we can save on electricity, no environmental harm and hey! no holes in the pocket. Have a look at the masterpiece. Well done Kohler!
