Shaun went with his son to watch the Pittsburgh Pirates play the Atlanta Braves and during the game a bat flew towards the boy.

The boy, Landon, was trying to send a photo of Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Danny Ortiz from his father's cellphone

The bat cleared the boy's head as violent force caused it to spin 180 degrees.

An alert dad saved his eight-year-old son from being hit in the face by a bat as it spun into the stands during a major league baseball game.
