Qatar is hosting its first-ever K-pop festival, K.One Festa 2023

The decision to hold the festival in Qatar was influenced by BTS Jungkook's performance at the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony in 2022

Jungkook sang "Dreamers," which was part of the World Cup's official soundtrack

He gave a stunning live performance in front of millions of spectators

HANARO Events and EMFFL Entertainment are organizing the festival, which will take place on May 19-20 at Lusail Multipurpose Stadium

The festival aims to raise awareness and funds for the Syrian and Turkish earthquake victims

The organizers want to honor K-Pop and K-Culture as a source of consolation, dreams, courage, and hope for individuals going through difficult times

ATEEZ, iKON, Sunmi, BamBam, Oh My Girl, SF9, Everglow, P1 Harmony, Cykers, and Dripin are among the ten artists and groups performing at the festival

The festival will offer various activities and programs to engage fans, including fan gatherings, photo booths, food vendors, merchandise booths, cultural exhibitions, games, and quizzes

The organizers hope to enhance the reputation and appeal of K-Pop and K-Culture in Qatar and the Middle East

Jungkook's performance contributed positively to the popularity of K-Pop and K-Culture in Qatar and was a major factor in deciding to hold the K.One Festa in Qatar 2023
